COURSE DESCRIPTION

This course is designed to introduce students to the program of Agribusiness and help them appreciate Agribusiness in today’s global economy. The course will equip students with the knowledge and skills needed for keeping good records. Students will be taught about how to gather capital and recourses needed to start a business. The class will discuss agribusiness at a global level and what opportunities and risks are present in today’s global economy.

PROGRAMME OBJECTIVES

This course aims at:

  1. Introduce students to the opportunities and constraints in Agribusiness.
  2. Discuss the importance of records keeping.
  3. Explore the resources and capital needed for Agribusiness.
  4. Examine current issues in Agribusiness.
